Dimi's Greek House

This place has quite an atmosphere, it was loud and expressive but in a welcoming and warm way. We were seated fairly quickly, considering it was quite busy inside, and the service was great with us being checked up frequently enough. For the appetizer, we got the Greek potato salad with feta cheese. For the main, we got the pistachio crusted salmon and the lamb and beef gyro. Both were amazing, and the portion size was perfect for each food we ordered. Every so often there would be a celebratory plate smashing, which was quite the excitement. I've never been to Greece but this felt like it.

The place is beautiful and thematic. They take care of detail in the ambience. However, the food is not really tasty. I think it was flat. I tried 3 different dishes and they were just okay. Pita bread was burned in 2 of those dishes. Servers were nice. But service in general, I think they are not ready to have a party table… we went to celebrate a friends’ birthday so we were 9 people and the table wasn’t ready, some of us didn’t have cutlery, glass for the water, it was a little careless. It was nice to know the place but I don’t think I’ll be back.

Food was flavourful, and cooked perfectly. We had a party of 5 to celebrate 2 birthdays and shared the feta dip, saganaki, spanakopita and the octopus apps. All excellent. The atmosphere was friendly and lively with option to participate in the traditional ouzo shot and plate smash for the birthday guests. I’ve not been since their latest renovation and was transported to Greece with old world charm on entering. It’s stunning! It’s difficult to talk to each other when the restaurant was full so if you are looking for a quieter ambience this isn’t it. The rest of our meals and desserts were equally delicious. Highly recommend making a dinner date here you won’t be disappointed.

This was the nicest good and resteraunt experience in London. Dimi's Greek food was awesome. We had a table for 6 in the outside patio and it wasa warm summer day, just the most romantic ambiance one could ask for! We ordered a bunch of items as apps and mains from the menu and just shared everything. Some of our fans were the saganaki, Greek salad, the warm olives, octopus, and souvlaki. The spicy Margheritas were super sour and asked them to remake them and they gladly did, which we were grateful for. The outdoor patio, while it's nice and light up, our table was situated on an elevated deck from which many tripped a few times. But it was super fun vibes and nice music and the staff was attentive.

Our first visit to Dimi's, and we found it well run as we were in and out in less than an hour! With an appetizer and drinks and entree! Piper was exquisite in her service and deserves accolades! We started with the whipped feta and devoured it, needing a few more slices of toast to eat all the feta. I opted for the lamb shank, was just feeling that tonight and my bride enjoyed the carbonara (pasta at a greek house? IKR) and it was great, if a bit small. The food was well presented and tasty, and the ambiance was exciting and exuberant, many celebrations going on around. Went for dinner with my mom before heading to a play. The restaurant is very pretty and the atmosphere was light and fun. We were at the early dinner seating so we were sat at our table right away. We decided to try 4 apps (lamb chops, greek fries, whipped feta and the short ribs) and share along with ordering 2 mocktails. The food came out quick and everything was delicious and the service was great. We had tons of leftovers that were packed up and enjoyed at home the next day. Would definitely recommend.
